Dear Liam and Democratic Party Presidential Candidate Joe Biden,
Thank you for the kind reply note (below) that I received from Liam of your campaign staff.
Mr. Biden, I would like to urge you in your televised speeches to please offer tangible examples of very innovative public-policy solutions you plan to offer that will help, for instance, to increase the level of energy efficiency of each and every municipality and county and state in our entire nation.
At present, as you must both be very aware, American society's squandering of fossil fuels plays a major role in antipathy and alienation toward the United States by many foreign countries and their citizens. The proposed plan to promote significantly greater energy efficiency throughout our nation will therefore do a lot to also enhance the relationship between the United States and foreign nations.
It would help if you could offer a clever and easy-to-remember name for your proposed energy-efficiency enhancement plan.
Another possible solution you might want to pledge to offer: Establishment of a proposed "Global Warming Effect Reversal Institute.
You could refer to that type of design and construction project as the "GLOBAL REVERSE" OR "PROJECT HEAT-AWAY" or "COOLER OR GONE" or some such catchy phrase.
You could emphasize that you, unlike incumbent Donald Trump, are willing to take the lead in politely asking Congress to approve establishment of a well-funded institute of that type.
The proposed institute could be funded in part by donations from for-profit corporations or non-profit foundations for which those corporations and foundations could claim tax write-offs on their corporate income taxes, if something like that is somehow legal or applicable.
I also feel that you could win lots of votes if you pledge to do a lot more than Donald Trump at promotion of excellence in environment-friendly, energy-efficient, visually attractive, people-friendly, eco-friendly urban planning that conserves wilderness land and cropland and ranchland while still offering adequate park space and green space within each city or metro area of the U.S.
Best Wishes,
John Kevin McMillan, Pebble Creek Apartments, 8805 North Plaza Drive, Apt. 2418, Bldg. 17, Austin, TX 78753.
