I still have not received any written response from the Austin Police Department Public Information Office that provided me with any document responsive to my September 4, 2022, online public-information request (below) to Austin Police.
The exactly quoted text of that online request of mine to APD is provided directly below in its entirety as a supplement to my otherwise-complete online Open Records Complaint on this that I submitted to your State of Texas agency in Austin at about 10:30 p.m. Mountain Time tonight.
"I am seeking a copy of a record or statement currently on file with the Austin (TX) Police Department which confirms in writing that your municipal law-enforcement agency in September 2022 is continuing to maintain and fully protect the DNA-evidence integrity of any and all DNA-traceable items and other items in each of the three respective rape-evidence kits that were each obtained from me at my request by a forensic nurse inside a hospital emergency room in Austin in 2011 (two such kits obtained from me that year, on April 28 and on December 22) and in 2021 (on September 2), respectively. Those three rape-evidence kits on my behalf as the criminal-law complainant were for APD Sex Crimes Case Number 11-1180447; APD Sex Crimes Case Number 11-3550615; and APD Sex Crimes Case Number 2021-2440624. My legal name is John Kevin McMillan. I was born on April 27, 1957, in Lincoln, Nebraska. I resided in Austin, Texas, on a continuous and uninterrupted basis from mid-March 1997 until December 31, 2021. I have resided in Salt Lake County, Utah, on a continuous and uninterrupted basis ever since December 31, 2021.
