Awards Traditions that are Urgently Needed in American Society

Among the non-partisan or bipartisan and well-publicized annual awards traditions that are greatly needed in the United States of America, with the following being very tentative possible wordings on honorary titles that could be bestowed in each of those important proposed awards categories, are:

(1) "Pedestrian Rights Activist of the Year," bestowed upon the honorable and law-abiding American citizen who in the most recent previous 12-month period or multi-year period contributed significantly toward protecting and strengthening the human rights and legal rights and personal safety and medical health of Americans who transport themselves on foot----by walking.

(1a) "Public Sidewalk Access Civic Leader of the Year."

(2) "Energy-Efficient Building Architect of the Year," bestowed upon the honorable and law-abiding American architect who in the most recent previous 12-month period or multi-year period designed renovations of one or more buildings that significantly enhanced the energy-efficiency and energy-conservation of that or those buildings.

(3) "Renewable-Energy Building Architect of the Year."

(3a) "Renewable-Energy Building Builder of the Year."

(3b) "Renewable-Energy Real Estate Developer of the Year."

(4) "Honesty in Government Civic Leader of the Year."

(4a) "Whitle-Blowing in Government Civic Leader of the Year."

(4b) "Corruption-Deterrence Civic Leader of the Year."

(4c) "Corporate Crime Deterrence Leader of the Year."

(5) "Lifelong Sports Athlete of the Year," bestowed upon the honorable and law-abiding American professional or amateur athlete who exceled in one or more of the salutary lifelong sports.

(6) "Lifelong Sports Coach of the Year."

(7) "Lifelong Sports Teacher of the Year."

(8) "Recycling Promoter of the Year."

(9) "Lifelong Education Teacher of the Year."

(10) "Lifelong Education Student of the Year."

(11) "Lifelong Education Promoter of the Year."

(12) "Urban-Sprawl Containment Civic Leader of the Year."

(13) "Agricultural Farmland Protector of the Year."

(14) "Clean Language Citizen of the Year."

(14) "Population Control Activist of the Year."

(14a) "Vasectomy Researcher or Promoter of the Year."

(14b) "Unwanted-Pregnancies Prevention Leader of the Year."

(15) "Drug-Addiction Treatment Program Counselor of the Year."
