Re: the recent alarming news about a government official in Rwanda having been convicted of the heinous crime of Genocide.
There may well be a need for an American-based Institute for the Study of Modern Genocide that devotes particular emphasis to studying genocide that reportedly has occurred in the 21st Century.
Through a Google search tonight on the Internet, I did identify a "Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies," based in the Canadian province of Quebec. So far, however, I have not identified any comparable institute based in the United States.
Also, I wonder whether The United Nations has a need for establishment of a UN Commission on Genocide that holds hearings in regard to any suspected case of genocide currently occurring or that recently occurred anywhere in the world.
