From: John Kevin McMillan, current complainant with Austin Police Department (APD) in Alleged Continuous Home-Invasion Crimes and Alleged Sex-Crimes and Alleged Personal-Injury Crimes Case 21-0830533---an alleged continuous-and-continuing-felony-crimes case for which I was denied a forensic medical-evidence DNA-swabs anal-rape sexual-assault medical exam on myself during a polite visit of mine by Austin-Travis County EMS ambulance to St. David's Medical Center in central Austin on Wednesday, March 24, 2021.
No examination of my anus was conducted at any time during my visit to that hospital's emergency room, with my polite male emergency-room doctor, Dr. Nair, stating that he would not want to do anything that might interfere in any way with the integrity of the forensic medical examination of me expected to occur later that day by a forensic nurse at the Safe Austin Alliance compound Eloise House in south Austin, that ER doctor indicated. I was then promptly discharged from the hospital's ER unit, and I then politely sat in the hospital ER's lobby in order to pursue some pertinent related phone calls.
A female official of Austin SAFE Alliance, Safeline Manager Rachel, stated me at 12:23 p.m. March 24 during a cell phone call I made from that St. David's ER lobby to her non-profit organization holding quasi-governmental authority over rape-exams in Austin, that they were not able to provide me with a forensic DNA-swabs anal-rape-evidence medical exam on myself. "You cannot have an exam at Eloise House (where forensic rape-evidence exams are routinely conducted by Austin SAFE Alliance)," Rachel stated to me from her end of the phone line. "Your needs surpass what they're able to provide at Eloise House. The hospital will need to dispatch a forensic nurse (to visit St. David's hospital), if needed." However, an Anglo female social worker for that St. David's hospital's emergency room staff, Wendy, stated to me in person at about 2 p.m. in the lobby of that St. David's Medical Center that I myself had already been released from the hospital as of that time, and that St. David's ER would not be willing to re-admit me, she said.
Minutes later, I was also officially denied authorization by APD for an anal-rape-evidence forensic sexual-assault medical-evidence exam on myself. "We won't authorize it at this time," Austin Police Department Detective William Costello, APD Badge Number 7057, stated to me at 2:07 p.m. that day when I called the APD Sex Crimes Unit's main phone number of (512) 974-5230 on my cell phone while I was still seated in the lobby of that St. David's hospital's emergency room.
My solo-occupancy (I live alone), always-bolt-locked and always-fully-locked efficiency rental-apartment unit ever since June 21, 2019:

The following (below) is the exact verbatim text of a very unexpected and much-appreciated recorded voice mail message I received and listened to on my home phone line this Friday evening, April 16, 2021, inside my current rental-apartment unit. The voice-mail message to me was the first-ever oral communication or written communication I can recall having ever received from any staff member of "The Austin American-Statesman" that was in direct response to a statement of mine to the Statesman staff about safe-housing issues for me in Austin.
The voice-mail messages of mine I had left with that very influential daily newspaper on April 13, 2021, had stated, among other things, that I myself "assume" that "American-Statesman" Executive Editor John Bridges supports safe housing conditions for me, including during my sleeping hours, inside my current solo-occupancy bolt-locked rental-apartment unit in northeast Austin.
The return voice-mail message to me from the "Statesman" that I listened to this evening for the first time was apparently from a female reporting intern for the "Austin American-Statesman" general-circulation daily newspaper that is reportedly owned by Gannett media company of McLean, Virginia:
"Hi, Mr. uh, McMillan, my name is Laura Morales, from the 'Austin American-Statesman'. I'm just calling you back, um, based on a call you gave us about a housing issue. I would be very interested in getting to know a little bit more about what you're facing. So if you could please call me back to (210) 780-0152, I would greatly appreciate any information, and a little bit more explanation about the recent voice mail that you left with one of our reporters. Um, so, yeah, any information would be greatly appreciated. Have a nice day. Bye-bye."
According to the official website for the "Austin American-Statesman", Laura Morales is a "spring 2021 Newsroom intern for the Statesman. She studies journalism at the University of Texas at Austin and serves as the Vice President of Texas NAHJ, the National Association of Hispanic Journalist(s) chapter at the University of Texas. She has written for The San Antonio Current, Texas Standard and The San Antonio Report as an intern and The Daily Texan as a senior news reporter."
