If you Google "St. Paul Police Department" on the Internet and then click on that link, you immediately enter the official website for that municipal law-enforcement agency for the state capital of Minnesota.
If you then scroll downward toward the lower half of that webpage, you will find the following clearly-stated invitation to yourself personally contact St. Paul Police Chief Todd Axtell with any questions or concerns you might want to pose or offer to that very distinguished police chief for Minnesota's second-largest city.
As a former Minnesotan who lived in Minneapolis from 1981 to 1984, and who occasionally visited St. Paul, Minnesota, I am very pleased by that kind invitation from Chief Axtell.
The invitation from Chief Axtell is provided in the following format, and I quote directly from the official St. Paul Police Department home page:
"Contact
"Todd Axtell
"Chief of Police
"Do you have a question:
"Click HERE or email Policeinfo@ci.stpaul.mn.us ".
It is very reassuring to sense that Chief Axtell of Minnesota is one big-city police chief in the United States who openly invites and welcomes direct communications from anyone, including former "Twin Cities of Minnesota" residents such as myself, John Kevin McMillan of Austin, Texas, USA.
