Observations for a rationally religious and implicitly deistic modern religion, public-policy writing, creative brainstorming and sociological writing from an environmental-protection-minded and crime-deterrence-minded, law-enforcement-minded, alcohol-free, lifelong non-Christian, conservative left-wing single adult gentleman who is also a direct descendant of Rev. MY CAREER AS A RESTAURANT EMPLOYEE IN SALT LAKE COUNTY, UTAH, AND, BEFORE THAT, IN THE AUSTIN AREA OF TEXAS
I lead a permanently illicit-drug-free, alcohol-free, tobacco-free, and non-vaping lifestyle. I am also consistently clean-talking, honest, conscientious, polite, and law-abiding, and I do not have any criminal-conviction record. I have a strong Utah heritage (my father was born and raised in Murray) and I became a permanent resident of Utah on January 1, 2023, after I had relocated to the Salt Lake City area from Texas on December 31, 2021.
I have extensive experience as a busser for Darden-chain restaurants. My Darden career as a busser began on October 25, 2016, and has continued with Darden ever since the day I began work duties on October 25, 2016, as a busser for a Darden-owned Cheddar's location at 13301-B US Highway 183, Austin, Texas, 78750. Phone number: (512) 336-8855. I worked at that Cheddar's location until July 17, 2019. My General Manager there was Danny Nunez. I transferred from there to the Darden-owned Yard House Domain restaurant in Austin with prior permission from Danny Nunez.
I have also worked as a busser at other locations that included:
---Yard House Domain (a Darden-brand location), 11800 Domain
Boulevard, Suite 700, Austin, TX 78758. Phone number: (512) 836-0174.
I worked there from July 18, 2019, until February 23, 2020. My Yard House General Manager, Lindsay Congemi, gave me prior permission to transfer to the Darden-owned Olive Garden location along Burnet Road in Austin.
---Olive Garden, 8833 Burnet Road, Austin, TX 78757. I worked there from February 24, 2020, until December 5, 2021. My general manager there, Alex Melton, gave me official permission to transfer from there to the Olive Garden Sugarhouse location in Salt Lake City, Utah, with official authorization for that transfer having been provided by Olive Garden Sugarhouse General Manager Felix Villar. The phone number for the Olive Garden along Burnet Road in Austin is: (512) 459-0701.
---Olive Garden Sugarhouse, 2272 South 1300 East, Salt Lake City, UT 84106. Office phone number: (801) 486-1773. I worked there as a Darden transfer busser from January 3, 2022, until April 24, 2022. My general manager at Sugarhouse location was Felix Villar.
---Olive Garden Murray, 6305 South State Street, Murray, UT 84107. Phone number : (801) 269-8138. I have worked there ever since April 28, 2022.
My general manager at this location is Corey Cook. My bussing supervisor is Assistant Manager Jason;
---Outback Steakhouse Sandy. 7770 South 1300 East, Sandy, UT 84094. Phone number: (801) 566-9394. My first shift as a transfer employee into that location from the Outback Steakhouse in northwest Austin (TX) was on March 16, 2022. I worked there until September 21, 2022. I resigned on good terms and gave two weeks' notice. My General Manager there was Alex.
----Red Robin Murray, 316 East Winchester Street, Murray, UT 84107. Phone number: (801) 266-9410. I was a busser there from September 4, 2022, until January 27, 2023. I was dismissed on good terms on January 27 by General Manager Andreas Ramirez.
---Village Inn, 900 East 400 South, Salt Lake City, UT 84102. Phone: (801) 355-3753. I have worked there as a busser ever since July 23, 2022. My general manager there is Liz Maurer.
My career pursuits in restaurants as a server or waitstaff member have included:
---April 27, 2002, until June of 2009: Server (waitstaff member) in the Austin area of Texas for a variety of corporate-owned Souper Salad Restaurant locations. Souper Salad Restaurants during that time period were headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.
---October 2002 through October 2007, and other multi-year periods of employment for IHOP at various times that ended in mid-2016: Waiter for several different respective IHOP-chain franchise-owned restaurants in the greater Austin area of Texas.
---April 8, 2008, through February 15, 2016: Waitstaff member for a Luby's Cafeteria location in northwest Austin, Texas. My position of employment ended when Luby's corporate headquarters in Houston in February 2016 closed the entire Luby's location where I was officially employed at that time.
---October 2007 to April 2008: Waiter at Village Inn 620 in Cedar Park, Texas. My job ended when that chain restaurant location was permanently closed by the regional franchise headquarters in April 2008.
---2011 through 2014: Waiter at Denny's Lakeline franchise-owned chain restaurant in northwest Austin. My job there ended abruptly after a fire to the roof of the restaurant erupted when a crew of contractors for Denny's were doing repair work on the roof during a workshift of mine inside that restaurant. The entire restaurant was destroyed by that fire.
--June 29, 2016, until mid-December 2021: Hospitality staff member at two respective Whataburger-chain restaurants in northwest Austin. The Whataburger corporation is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. As a Hospitality staff member, I did check-back with customers at their respective dining tables to make sure they were pleased with their meal. I resigned from my job at Whataburger in late 2021 and gave full notice on that because I was planning to move to Utah and there were no Whataburger restaurants in Utah.
