PROPOSED EDUCATIONAL DOCUMENTARY FILM FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS THAT HIGHLIGHTS RESPONSES BY PRIVATE CITIZENS TO PUBLIC-SAFETY CRISES AND PUBLIC-SAFETY ISSUES IN THEIR HOME OR TOWN OR AT THEIR PUBLIC SCHOOL CAMPUS

 

I hope that my public-safety-minded and still-one-member (myself, only) "Progressive Prohibitionist Religion" can help sponsor the compilation of an educational videotape for primary-level and secondary-level public schools that contains brief portions of actual television shows or Hollywood movies that feature a response by a household or individual to a public-safety crisis or public-safety issue in his or her neighborhood or school campus or city.

The documentary could feature a discussion section after each such highlighted public-safety-issue at the local level. The teacher could point out possible ways in which the featured characters in each fictional-videotape segment could have responded in a more successful manner (if applicable) than they did.

This type of program inside a classroom or in a public school auditorium could help to encourage students to become more public-safety-minded, and to be alert to steps they can take to help prevent public safety crises in their home or neighborhood, or at their school campus.
