Dear Austin Police Department Open Records Unit Officials in Austin, Texas,
Thank you for your December 31, 2020, reply to my online public-information request (below) at your official City of Austin website that your municipal law-enforcement agency received on December 19, 2020.
In response to your statement to me that "We are unable to complete your request as received since you did not provide the name of an officer and as such, we have no responsive information", I would like to revise one total paragraph of that public-information request of mine.
That one total revision I am hereby making will be to this paragraph:
“I am seeking a copy of any and all e-mail communications or other written communications that have occurred at any time since 12:01 a.m. June 21, 2019, between the government office of Austin Mayor Steve Adler or the government office of Austin District 4 Representative Greg Casar and APD Chief Brian Manley or APD Assistant Chief/Chief of Staff Troy Gay in a context that referred at least once in any manner to myself, John Kevin McMillan of the District 4 section of Austin."
Please disregard the original version of the above paragraph (farther below) that you received on December 19, 2020.
I would like to keep the rest of the text exactly the same as before in the online public-information request of mine to APD that you have assigned the identification number of: R050569-121920.
Please let me know at your earliest convenience if you would prefer that I submit a separate new public-information request on this, or whether this one total revision to my existing public-information request is acceptable to you.
Sincerely and Best Wishes,
John Kevin McMillan, public-information requestor.
