I am a firm believer in the "Sanctity of Sleep", and in the many health benefits from getting seven or eight consecutive hours of sleep every night in the privacy of one's own bedroom and in the privacy of one's own home.
This link is to a thought-provoking recent blog that explores how one partner in a cited "relationship" with another person living with themselves in a mutual-consent context (and this situation is very different from my own, since I am single and live ALONE and do everything I can to lawfully and in a civil manner keep anyone and everyone AWAY from any portion of the interior of my own always-fully-locked efficiency solo-occupancy apartment unit throughout any and all of my sleeping or napping hours) might deliberately inflict sleep deprivation on the other partner as an outrageous and very injurious form of partner abuse or spouse abuse or domestic violence.
