The next-to-last paragraph of today's reply e-mail (below) to me from the City Attorney's Office:
"Your Public Information Request Reference # C054386-121219 is still being processed. The City of Austin will make the effort to ensure information you have requested is made available in a timely manner. We anticipate completing your request on or before January 17, 2020."
The reply letter doers not state whether the City Attorney's Office here in Austin, Texas, plans to submit a letter to the Attorney General of Texas that seeks exemption from the Texas Legislature-mandated 10-working-days deadline on final response to a public-information request in this state.
