FYI to each of you on the following attachment containing a signed three-page official legal letter from earlier today by Travis County Assistant County Attorney Ann-Marie Sheely. That legal letter refers to me by name and is addressed to officials of the Attorney General of Texas state agency in downtown Austin.
Ms. Sheely in her letter is seeking a ruling from the Attorney General of Texas in regard to whether Travis County Precinct 3 Republican County Commissioner Gerald Daugherty can withhold from me numerous legal documents referring to me in some manner that were each generated or received or sent or e-mailed or faxed by Commissioner Daugherty's office in the period ever since April 17, 2011.
The September 14, 2018-dated formal request for a ruling from the Attorney General openly acknowledges that one or more staff members of Travis County Precinct 3 Commissioner Gerald Daugherty's office during the period ever since April 17, 2011, have requested and obtained legal advice from the Travis County Attorney's Office in regard to myself, John Kevin McMillan of northwest Austin.
I am a University of Texas at Austin alumnus and longtime Austin resident. I am also a gainfully employed and dependably civil and law-abiding, single adult male resident of the very same Travis County precinct, Precinct 3, that Commissioner Daugherty primarily represents and serves and also himself resides in.
I would appreciate any reply note or written response that any of you are willing to offer me about this legal matter.
Sincerely and Best Wishes,
John Kevin McMillan.
