A MOMENT OF REVELATION FOR ME ON THE SUBJECT OF SPICY BROWN MUSTARD

THE FOLLOWING IS AN EDITED AND REVISED VERSION OF AN ITEM I WROTE AND THEN POSTED EARLY THIS MORNING IN THE GENERAL POSTINGS ONLINE SECTION OF "NEXTDOOR.COM" THAT PRIMARILY SERVES THE ARBORETUM AREA OF NORTHWEST AUSTIN. THE ABORETUM AREA IS THE SECTION OF AUSTIN, TEXAS, USA, WHERE I AM CURRENTLY RESIDING ALONE IN A RENTAL APARTMENT UNIT A FEW BLOCKS FROM THE H.E.B. CHAIN SUPERMARKET CITED BELOW, WITH H.E.B. SUPERMARKETS BEING HEADQUARTERED IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS:

I noticed this weekend for the first time that the boldly delicious H.E.B.-brand "Spicy Brown Mustard, 'Deli Style'" product that I find in the delicatessen section of the Arboretum-area H.E.B. chain supermarket, has at least EIGHT INGREDIENTS that are NOT found in the less-tasty H.EB.-brand "Spicy Brown Mustard" product available for sale in the condiments section of that same supermarket.

Those eight ingredients, I now realize, explain why I much prefer the flavor of the deli-style H.E.B.-brand "Spicy Brand Mustard" over the regular H.E.B.-brand Spicy Brown Mustard that's found in the main condiments section. 

The H.E.B. Deli-style "Spicy Brown Mustard" contains: "water," "white distilled vinegar", "garlic", "red chili peppers" , "sugar", "onions", "citric acid,".and "annatto" among the ingredients.

According to the online Wikipedia encyclopedia, "annatto" is an "orange-red condiment" that is "derived from the seeds of the anchiote tree".

Each of the two H.E.B. "Spicy Brown Mustard" products contain mustard seed, salt, spices, and turmeric. 

Each of the two cited H.E.B. products also contains some type of vinegar as an ingredient. However, the ingredients label for the regular H.E.B. "Spicy Brown Mustard" refers only to "vinegar" as an ingredient without any elaboration on that, while the deli-style H.E.B. Spicy Brown Mustard contains "white distilled vinegar".
