The following is the exact verbatim transcript of the voice-mail recorded message to myself, John Kevin McMillan of Austin District 10, that Cap Metro representative Kevin left on my AT&T home phone service at 1:31 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017. The MV Transportation to which the Cap Metro rep refers, directly below, is a for-profit business serving as a Cap Metro contract-service provider:
"Yeah, John, this is, uh, Kevin with MV Transportation. I was calling in regards to your complaint on the 383 route.
"Um, I'm guessing you're calling for some more information on your previous complaint. I just want to let you know that that, um, complaint is still under investigation.
"Unfortunately, the camera system doesn't have a clear view of the driver's seatbelt area. So if the, if the alarm isn't going off----the alarm would be going off if the driver doesn't have a seatbelt on.
"Uh, these units have a seatbelt activation system switch that, uh, gives out an alarm if the driver isn't wearing the seatbelt.
"Um, like I said, this is still being under investigation. So, we will be looking into it to see if any of these issues or the carrier or what have you.
"Once again, I apologize, uh, for the operator's actions.
"If you have any additional questions or concerns, just contact Customer Service and um, they'll, um, get you pointed in the right direction.
"Uh, thank you and have a nice day."
