Dear University of Texas at Austin President Fenves,
As you may already be aware, Professor Jeremi Suri (the highly-regarded spouse of current Austin City Council Member Alison Alter), a gentleman who is himself reportedly employed as a a professor in both the UT-Austin LBJ School of Public Affairs and the UT-Austin History Department, has reportedly requested that I myself never again directly contact him at any time in any manner or any context.
I was informed about that decision by Dr. Alter's husband on March 9, 2017, when a City of Austin "Community Liaison" representative on his own initiative visited my rental apartment unit at Village Oaks Apartments and directly stated information that to me in person.
President Fenves, would you please confirm for me in writing whether Professor Suri is, in fact, the only current employee or official or administrator of UT-Austin of whom you are aware who has imposed a ban on my ever again contacting that UT-Austin employee at any time or in any context?
Sincerely and Best Wishes,
