From what I myself have observed over a multi-decade period, it has often seemed to me that adult women or adult men with bangs of hair over their own eyes are significantly more likely to attempt to commit suicide than are adult persons not fitting that description.
A person who states to the entire world that he or she is "not willing to reveal both of my own eyes to you, since I choose to use my own hair follicles to conceal from you one or both of my own eyes", may possibly exhibit a form of withdrawal from the rest of humanity that can be regarded in many cases as a warning sign of despair, anomie, and incipient suicidal tendencies.
The bangs covering an eye comprise a form of self-inflicted defacto "blindness" or "visual impairment" in the individual with the bangs. That form of self-inflicted "injury" is a shocking indication that the cited individual is possibly capable of inflicting physiological medical injury on himself as well, through attempted suicide.
Suicide is an outrageous and unconscionable crime: suicide is flagrantly illegal and robs others of a prospective friend or spouse or associate or neighbor. And the bang-identified individual is implicitly confessing to the entire world through his self-annihilating "hairstyle" that he is at possible risk of committing that felony crime.
So if you want to help a person with bangs reduce his risk of committing suicide, try persuading him to eliminate the bangs over his eyes.
If you are successful at persuading him, you will very glad you did: through that one action he has taken, his chances of enjoying a full and healthy and people-friendly life will have automatically increased by 100 percent!
