Dear Ms. Acosta of the Ex-Students' Association on the UT-Austin campus, Thank you for your courteous reply letter. If you ever do have any reason to suspect or believe that any current or former employee or official of any University of Texas at Austin-affiliated institution or organization (or other entity) allegedly impinges on my own privacy rights, I would be very grateful to you for any information about that which you are willing to share with me at that time.

That information would enable me to then assert my legal rights in a court of law in Austin .

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

Ex-Students' Association Member John Kevin McMillan of Austin .

Dear Mr. John McMillan:

I’m sorry for the delay in responding, but your initial email was sent to my quarantine folder by mistake. Please accept my apologies for the tardiness.

In response to your email, I honestly do not believe I am the best person to give out legal advice on whether or not you should file a lawsuit. Since I do not possess a law degree, nor does our association retain a general counsel on staff, the best course for you is to seek the answers from a licensed attorney.

Regarding your question on whether your membership dues prohibit you from engaging in a lawsuit, please know there are no stipulations tied to your charitable donation to the Texas Exes.

Thank you for the questions, and I hope I have answered them to your satisfaction.

Sincerely,
Leticia

Dear Ms. Acosta at the Ex-Students Association in Austin ,

Thank you for your March 4, 2008, reply letter.

Upon further reflection about the matter, I would like to find out from you whether you believe I have a need to file a lawsuit against the cited instructor and researcher Guy Howard Miller (see below) of UT-Austin's History Department in order to myself permanently exclude him from my own life in a lawful and comprehensive manner.

Also, I need to ask you whether I myself have the option as a member of your noble group of myself contacting the General Counsel of the Ex-Students Association in regard to any legal matter possibly relating to UT-Austin in some manner, such as any alleged violation of my own privacy rights by any current or former employee of UT-Austin or any other university or any other entity or any business entity in Austin, about which any evidence of alleged impropriety or alleged violation of the law on their own part might ever occur at any time.

Also, I need to know from you whether my current dues-paying membership in the Ex-Students Association in any way undermines or restricts my own ability to myself file a lawsuit in a court of law against UT-Austin or any employee of UT-Austin, or against the UT System, or against an entity affiliated with UT-Austin, such as the Texas Student Publications or KUT-FM radio station, for instance, should there ever at any time be any evidence of any alleged impingements upon my own privacy rights, any alleged public disparagement of myself, any alleged slandering of myself, any alleged libel of myself, any alleged stalking of myself, any alleged verbal harassment of myself (such as verbal harassment featuring verbalization of profanity), or any other crime or violation of the law or any alleged abuse of myself violative of my own legal rights by any employee or official or student or student group of or at UT-Austin.

As a very consistently law-abiding (I have no criminal-conviction record, in fact, as I'm sure you are already aware) and non-stalking, very honorable and consistently honest, permanently-illicit-drug-free, lifelong-tobacco-free, permanently-alcohol-free, never-previously-addicted, facially cleanshaven, hygienic, gentlemanly and consistently civil, law-enforcement-minded, non-sadomasochistic and anti-sadomasochistic, consistently clean-talking (virtually no profane speech ever being verbalized by myself to others), tattoo-less, longtime celibate, HIV-negative, disease-free, fully ambulatory, medically healthy and disease-free, psychologically and morally healthy, single adult, gainfully employed Austin gentleman who is myself very opposed to anonymous communications and fraudulent communications, for instance,I look forward to your helpful reply letter.

Thank you again for your helpful stated interest in protecting my own legal rights as a law-abiding and taxpaying member of the Ex-Students Association.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

Ex-Students Association Member John Kevin McMillan,

To: Ms. Leticia Acosta , Director of Public Policy for the Ex-Students' Association affiliated with The University of Texas at Austin .

February 29, 2008.

Dear Ms. Acosta,

I would like to thank your non-profit organization for helping to protect my privacy rights in Austin , Texas .

As I mentioned to a very nice female representative for your organization shortly before I recently joined your group as a dues-paying member, about 10 years ago I lawfully and irrevocably rejected at least one employee or faculty member at The University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Guy Howard Miller, someone affiliated with the UT-Austin Department of History, from all aspects of my own life. The University of Texas at Austin administration several years ago provided me with a photocopy of that rejection letter from myself that I had mailed to UT-Austin, and the UT-Austin administration has kept that legal rejection letter from myself in its legal records.

I appreciate the promise I received from your Ex-Students Association that my own legal right to myself permanently exclude from my own life the cited Dr. Guy Howard Miller (or any other employee at UT-Austin whom I ever at any time might reject, for that matter) is fully protected by your group.

Among the privacy rights that I most value are:

---full freedom from anonymous communications to myself;
---full freedom from verbal harassment intrusive upon my own privacy rights;

---full freedom from noise pollution injurious to my medical health and intrusive upon my own privacy rights;

and

---full freedom from any and all other violations of my own privacy rights.

No media company or media entity anywhere in the world, and no individual anywhere in the world, is authorized to impinge on my own privacy rights in any way. Thank you again for the respect for my own privacy rights in Austin , Texas , that your Ex-Students' Association has conveyed.

Sincerely and Best Wishes,

John Kevin McMillan,
